Beta/Theta makes use of the Reward Suppress Using Filters algorithm. This algorithm

ouputs a range of notes based on a range of ratios of two frequency bands. The output only

occurs though, if certain threshold conditions are met.

In this case:

If Beta is above 2.0 microVolts

And Theta is below 7.0 microVolts

And Delta (1.5-4 hertz) is below 20 microVolts,

Then the ratio of Beta to theta from 60 to 130 percent will be mapped to MIDI notes 60

(middle C) to 84 (the C two octaves above middle C).

If the ratio goes below the threshold of 60 per cent or above 130 per cent no audio will be

output.

To modify these thresholds, first observe the Beta, Theta and Delta General Graphics

Windows to the left.
